Today we're going to look at your 4th purpose. You were shaped for serving God. Ephesians 2:10 (NIV) For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Before you were born, God planned in advance what He wanted you to do with your life. In effect, your calendar has already been filled in by God, you just need to follow it. You were created to do something, that something is good works. You were fashioned to not just be a consumer, but to be a contributor. You were designed to make a difference with your life. God has shaped you in a remarkable way. You have a unique divine design that sets you apart from everyone else who has ever lived or who will ever live. You have a unique set of spiritual gifts, passions, abilities, personality traits and experiences. All the things that God has given you were given for the purpose of serving others. Message Audio |

We're in a message series called "Living With Purpose." We're
looking at the five reasons that God put you here on the earth. God's purpose is
the bull's eye your life should hit. You were planned for God's pleasure, so
your first purpose is worship. You were formed for God's family, so your second
purpose is fellowship with other believers. You were created to be like Jesus,
so your third purpose is discipleship.
